About Me

I am a Registered Psychotherapist regulated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/body image issues, life transitions, interpersonal issues and race-based stress.

My work is anchored in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, person-centered practices and I am passionate about supporting people in healing from the effects of systemic oppression and anti-black racism. As a proud Jamaican-Canadian, I hold space in our work to explore how culture, power, privilege and our intersecting identities shape and influence our lives.

I strive to create a compassionate, warm and non-judgmental space to support you showing up authentically in our work together. It takes a lot of courage to get to this point and I am already cheering for you on your journey of self discovery, growth and healing.

My Education & Experience

I have a Masters of Science in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Guelph and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, Georgia.

Additionally, I am trained in delivering various therapeutic modalities that include: CBT, DBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion.
